The name Eloper is derived from "escaping without permission", in their case, leaving the corporate world to pursue their love of wine and living an off the grid existence. 


Eloper Wines is a new entrant to the wine industry and the first release Sauvignon Blanc recently received a bronze award at the prestigious Adelaide Wine Show. The Tempranillo and Syrah wines will be bottled in February next year, for release in April.


All wines are made from fruit sourced from the Adelaide Hills. In the case of the Sauvignon Blanc, the fruit is from thier vineyard in the southern Adelaide Hills.


Eloper wines are not in the business of mass produced wine and want their wine to be a true expression of the varietal characteristics of the fruit and the terroir of the Adelaide Hills. 


"The Sauvignon Blanc fruit was grown on our Pottery Road vineyard with near perfect ripening conditions. Grapes were picked at night and only free run juice was retained to enhance freshness. The wine displays an array of tropical fruit characters, an uninterrupted line of flavour and bright acidity, combining to produce a delicious lingering aftertaste"
